Fall Ball Festival raises funds for Currituck House

The Currituck House recently held its first annual Fall Ball Festival to raise money for the Resident Activity Program. This program serves many who are on fixed incomes, Medicaid and Public Assistance and who otherwise do not have the financial resources to participate in a wide variety of activities. The Currituck Fire Department, Elizabeth City Coast Guard and many local businesses and families donated baked goods and silent-auction items to help raise funds. Activities and attractions included hayrides, a clown, balloon animals, face painting, a costume contest, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and just about everything else you would expect to find at a fall carnival. Over 250 attendees helped make this event a huge success.

Ocean Tumblers Gymnastics participated in the event.

Everyone enjoyed the hayrides
